Michigan Granted Permission By LSU To Speak With Les Miles

Just because a request is made to speak with Miles doesn't mean he's the next head coach.  Martin is merely honoring Bo by making an effort, then will go get Brian Kelly, who only publicly addressed Nebraska (they haven't called - mum on Michigan) or Gary Pinkell (Ohio boy - might like being near home).

 

the next hire is, maintains the consistency of the Michigan program and this does not put us in the company of Nebraska and ND.  I would Love for UM to play for many NC's, and I think we can over time, but the great thing about Michigan is consistency over a long period of time.  We have not had to really suffer the way many programs have, and the program has been run in an honest way.  

I would love to see some innovation on offense and some more aggression on defense, but I hope to see a team that is always a top tier team as we are now.  Team speed needs to be addressed as well, but I hope not at the expense of constant trouble and issues surrounding the football program.
