Season Pronounced D.O.A. After 19 point First Half

It was kind of fitting. You know. And Icon is retired. He does his strange little dance and that's it. As Chief Illiniwek was finally laid to rest last night, a victim of incompetent political correctness, so too was the Michigan Basketball season, a victim of simple incompetence.

In a game Michigan had to win the Wolverines committed 20 turnovers and completed only 8 assists.  Michigan went to the free throw line just 10 times and shot 37% from the floor. This was another winnable game that ended up a double digit loss.

Nothing about this team or their effort surprises me anymore. This loss is a fitting end to their tournament hopes.

The funeral will be held tomorrow. I hope they won't mind if I don't send flowers.
