Michigan Is The Best

Since this is my first blog on this site, it is nice to be amongst supporters of the Anthony Carter alma mater. Michigan was never far from my heart. After three tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan there was always a reminder. Amongst the crap hole self destructive "litter box" of the Middle East, there was always soccer jerseys, 50 Cent tee shirts and none other then the familiar Maize & Blue Michigan Football Helmet on a blue shirt with yellow writing. Michigan is the best and Urban Meyer sucks...

Ed. Note: This entry appeared in the Diaries section to your right earlier this morning. As the brother of a member of the 82nd Airborne who has served in Iraq, postings like DG's mean the world to me. I remember the long days checking the papers for any mention of my brother's unit and feeling so proud that he was over there making a difference. That in some small way this blog helps the boys overseas is incredibly humbling. I have the utmost respect for the work they do and cannot express properly how grateful I am to them. To DG and all the men and women serving at home or abroad, Thank You!
