100 Days to Football and 100 Reasons to Love Ann Arbor

With College Football season officially less than 100 days away, I'm a day late on Maize n Brew's latest countdown. But, from today until kick off Maize n Brew will be giving you one more memory or reason to get excited about your return to Ann Arbor for the start of Football Season. So to kick us off, reason 100 and 99!

Reason #100 - The Arb

The hidden Gem of both the University and the town. Gorgeous woodland paths, beautiful flowers, open spaces. The Arb is one of the first things students will tell you about if you ask them where they go on a sunny spring day. It's also the best place on Earth for dining hall tray-sledding in the middle of a snowy winter. That's why it's the first in our Countdown.

Reason #99 - The Brown Jug

How many times have you had hash browns and an omelet at 2 in the morning here? Lost count? Me too. The Jug is a staple of student life at Michigan and honestly a pretty good place to grab some eats after a long day of studying, partying, or FOOTBAWL! Even though its undergone some renovations over the years from diner to dump to shiny new, its still the same ole' Jug located on South U, and #99 on the Countdown.

If you've got suggestions on places you'd like to see, email me with a photo or a description and we'll get your favorite hangouts in the countdown as well. (Special HT to Burnt Orange Nation, whose idea I am totally Pirating. Yarrr!)
