#95 - Ray Fisher Stadium
via mgoblue.com
In honor of the baseball team being selected as a NCAA Baseball Tournament Regional Host and Michigan's outstanding season, the venerable Ray Fisher Stadium, home of the Maize n' Nine, is number #95 on our Countdown.
If you've got suggestions on places you'd like to see, email me with a photo or a description and we'll get your favorite hangouts in the countdown as well.

All hail MaizenBrew Dave
I’d commented in one of the lower stories, but the baseball coverage was missing the last 3 years. I look forward to your exchange with Sea of Blue.
On a side note… this at 95 is a sin against America. Let me guess, the Big House on a Saturday is #2? That’s about as big as an upset.
I’ll also toss this out as couple of ridiculously awesome things on North Campus. I’ve seen kids strap up in parachutes and fly in the wind tunnel. Then there’s the 3DLab. I set up a collision of comets and planets in there one time for a class. http://um3d.dc.umich.edu/
Yeah, I’m too lazy for email.

Is Confession Necessary?
A sin? No way. Even “The Countdown” has to be responsive to the times, and baseball is ongoing so the Fish has to be up early!
Just so I’m straight on this, you set up a collision of comments and planets? Good lord. Galactus is a commenter on my site.

oddly enough i didn't need that link
I was an aerospace student just long enough to know rocket science wasn’t my thing. My 245 project was to send a satellite into orbit on pluto. After several successful crashes I decided to send a comet into pluto instead. The graphics were meh, but it was worth it.
It also made football like programming: http://um3d.dc.umich.edu/projects/quarterback/
