15 Days to Football and Reason #37 to Love Ann Arbor

There are just 15 Days Left Till Kick-off, but we're running a little behind on the Countdown. So with 15 Days Left, you’re gonna get three reasons a day to Love Ann Arbor until we get caught up! So, here's #37 in our continuing Series of 100 Days to Football and 100 Reasons to Love Ann Arbor.

#37 - The Law Quad

Arguably the most beautiful part of Michigan's campus. The Law School's quad seemingly takes you back 200 years to the days of steepled buildings and barristers wearing powdered wigs. The manicured grass, the 100 year old trees, it's just stunning. Despite being smack in the middle of campus, it feels worlds away. Perhaps this sentimentality is a result of viewing the law school from the outside, but  there is something majestic about walking into the Law Quad. Yet another reason why it's #37 in our Countdown and Reason #37 to Love Ann Arbor.

If you've got suggestions on places you'd like to see, email me with a photo or a description and we'll get your favorite hangouts in the countdown as well. I'll also try to get a link on the sidebar in the coming days that allows you to see all 100 Reasons to Love Ann Arbor.

Just gorgeous

One semester my sophomore year, I had a late weeknight shift at WCBN. I think it was midnight to 3am. I would always make a point of walking home via the Law Quad. While the place always looks amazing, at 3 am, covered in snow with everything silent and still is the way I will always choose to remember it. Tired and eager for bed as I always was at that hour, I would still linger for just a bit to take it all in. Probably the prettiest place on campus. No photos can do it justice. Thanks for posting!
