Choking On Applesauce
Up FOUR on Iowa with only one minute remaining in regulation, the Michigan Wolverines managed to give up that lead without so much as an allowed field goal... Then with an opportunity to end the game on the final possession of regulation, Michigan channeled the ghost of Tommy Amaker and drew up a play that featured Manny Harris and Stu Douglass passing back and forth with 4 seconds to go, opening up the opportunity for a contested 25 foot fade away three attempt by Manny... stunningly it failed to drop. Manny sat the rest of the game and Michigan declined to show up for OT. If this doesn't kill our tourney chances I'll be stunned.
Goddamnit. This one will hurt on selection Sunday.

One Hope
I think our only hope left would be to win the Big Ten tournament.
Unlikely.

I still think
…if we can win two more, we’re in. If we only win one more it’s gonna take a deep run in the b10 tourney and a lot of luck, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility. Two more wins, and a first round win at b10 tourney and we’re in, IMO.
Like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli.
