U of M Club of Greater Chicago will be hosting its 77th Annual Sports-O-Rama on Thursday, May 14, 2009. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. reception, 8:00 p.m. program. The event will take place at the Standard Club located at 320 S. Plymouth Ct., in Chicago. (HT: the Chicago Club)

Program highlights and speakers:

* Rich Rodriguez – Head football coach
* John Beilein – Men’s head basketball coach
* Bill Martin - U-M athletic director
* Hub Arkush – Master of ceremonies and publisher of Pro Football Weekly
* Presentation of Ernest T. Sigler Awards - honoring Michigan student-athletes from the Chicago area.
* Live Auction - Proceeds benefit the University of Michigan Athletics Scholarship Fund
