EDIT: Angry Michigan ______ Hating God decides to "sit" Manny for today's action...  In all fairness however, it sounds like Beilein is doing the right thing here.  Sigh.

So yeah... remember this from the last time Michigan visited Mackey Arena?

Of course you do, good times indeed, and with the way things were called in Madison, let's not be surprised when DeShawn Sims is ejected for a fundamentally sound box-out at a critical juncture in the game today...  sarcasm not withstanding the live thread will kick off starting at 3:45, tip scheduled for 4, coverage on ESPN.  [Note by Maize n Brew Dave, 01/23/10 12:53 PM CST ] No ejections this time! Manny got himself suspended. So, we've got that going for us! (begin uncontrollable sobbing).... [end edit..] Who knows, we see another rule enforced that none of us had previously heard about, like Purdue's John Hart somehow coming in and providing a spark for his team, and yet somehow through some archaic rule earning a technical by not being officially listed on the roster.  

It's hard to have a less climatic meeting in this game, what with Michigan doing nothing but hovering just over .500 for the season (sigh) and Purdue having gone 1-3 in their last four games virtually eliminating any chance they had of claiming a regular season conference title.  With that set-up, how could you not tune in???  GO BLUE!
