The conference announced it this morning, Boise State is now a Mountain West member.

Good move for Boise State and not a surprise
The MWC was a 9 team conference screaming for one more regional member.
League now has 4 power teams in TCU, Utah, Brigham Young and BSU.
The question now is whether what impact this increased power in 4 of the 10 teams will have for the MWC weak sisters: Wyoming, UNLV, Air Force, SD State, New Mexico and Colorado State. They might get better, but I doubt it.

If they add Kansas and Kansas St......
Watch out. the MWC could go a long way to ensuring their BCS bid by securing Kansas’ two schools. I think they’re forward minded enough to try to make that happen. The next two weeks are going to be really really interesting as the chips start to fall and the players bust out.
