I loved AT, but I am always haunted by the 2000 Northwestern game where he fumbled on what would have been a REALLY long run… or a TD, which would have clinched the game.

Until you typed that I was completely unaware that Mike Alstott was ever called that...
and Pinchy, you’re exactly right. It’s not fair really, but I will ALWAYS remember that game when I think of Anthony Thomas, just like I will ALWAYS think of Marquis Walker’s drop in the endzone against Ohio State in 2001, both great players, both great careers, and both with moments that will always make me cringe.
