UConn Suspends Back-up QB, Back-up Guard Indefinitely
According to SI.com, the Connecticut Huskies have indefinitely suspended backup quarterback Cody Endres and guard Erik Kuraczea for undisclosed violations of team rules. Obviously this doesn't effect UConn'sstarting line up, but it definitely affects their depth. Kuraczea started five games last season and Endres threw for 1,354 yards and six touchdowns last year subbing for Zach Frazer. Whether this impacts UConn on September 4th is anyone's guess, but it will definitely impact them later in the season.

I'm more excited about the DE's
I still think them without both DE’s is huge. RR runs a read option and 2 inexperienced de’s, trying to make the proper reads, who will be overwhelmed and over-informed about their responsibilities. I think they cave and make plenty of bad decisions that lead to a couple huge Michigan offensive plays.
DE's are huge in defending the Zone Read
Watch the Denard video. Steve Watson is playing DE and looks completely lost as Denard takes off. If you’re not expereinced against it, you’re in deeeeep trouble.

Greg Lloyd was NFL bound
and Marcus Campbell was a blooming star.
As for the suspensions of backups (Endres and Kurazcea) I don’t think that will be too bad for UConn, unless the starters at these spots get injured. No matter how poorly Frazier may play, he won’t get yanked because that means Mike Box (freshman) will be under center. Same deal for OGs Mathieu Olivier and Zach Hurd. Both are NFL caliber players.
