Four Star California Cornerback Stefan McClure Taking Official Visit to Michigan

The good news keeps rolling in. US Army All-American and 4 star corner in the 2011 class Stefan McClure is now taking his final official visit to Michigan. McClure was set to use his last official at UCLA this past weekend, but switched it to an unofficial so that he could travel to Ann Arbor. The North County Times reports that McClure has a great relationship with Hoke and that is why he's coming to Ann Arbor this weekend. McClure has cut his list to six schools: Oregon State, Boise State, UCLA, Cal, Michigan and San Diego State. At this point with Hoke's departure you can probably axe SDSU from the list, leaving Oregon State, Boise, UCLA and Cal as Michigan's primary competition. But there's one other thing going for the Wolverines, McClure and former Michigan cornerback Leon Hall are buddies. Hall and McClure attended the same high school, Vista High in San Diego. So Michigan is truly in the hunt for the standout DB. The money quote?

"This late in the process, it would have been easy to say no, so this is not a courtesy visit."

Awesome.
