PrintIt's that time. Selection Sunday. Michigan has sweeps over two of the Big Ten Tournament semifinalists. Michigan's only bad loss on the season was at Indiana. Michigan's RPI is 51 and their Strength of Schedule is 16th. They closed hot and lost to the No. 1 overall seed (projected No. 1 overall seed) by seven. They've got a rapid following. There are all kinds of different reasons to put them in the field of 68.
ESPN has Michigan in the field of 68. CBS does. Everyone does. So the question now is where are they going to fall on the bracket. I've seen them anywhere from a 9 to a 12. I suspect Michigan ends up around a 10. Comments in the section below. See you in an hour.
