The 2012 NCAA tournament brackets have been revealed, and the No. 4-seeded Michigan Wolverines will take on the No. 13 Ohio Bobcats on Friday in the Midwest region.
The Wolverines are looking to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1994, and take the next step towards ascending the proverbial ladder as an elite program.
A brief look at Ohio, who upended Akron in the Mid-American title game on Saturday:
Record (Conf.): 27-7 (11-5 MAC)
Strength of Schedule: 165
KenPom Ranking: 72
Sagarin Ranking: 72
RPI Ranking: 47
Offensive Efficiency: 114th
Defensive Efficiency: 50th
The Bobcats are one of the best teams in America at forcing turnovers on defense (14.0 steal%), and will put constant pressure on freshman Trey Burke and Michigan's ball-handlers.
