Green could push Toussaint for the starting job. - Leon Halip
The top-rated running back the latest to make it official with a signed letter of intent.
Michigan got the big one recently when the final piece in Michigan's 2013 class dropped for the Wolverines. It was quite a big piece, as Derrick Green is set to provide Michigan with an almost immediate boost in the running back department.
The five-star running back is one of the most highly touted players in the country, and had national interest. He choose Michigan over finalists Tennessee and Auburn. Green will most likely compete for a spot on the depth chart from day one, and could factor into Michigan's immediate plans depending on the recovery of Fitzgerald Toussaint from a grisly broken leg suffered late in 2012.
