Lewis is the next in a line of good field corners like Blake Countess. - Jonathan Daniel
Michigan gets its obligatory Corner Recruit from Cass Tech.
Michigan continues in a long tradition of getting talented corner prospects from Cass Tech high school, and Jourdan Lewis could be one of the better ones to emerge from the Technician's squad in recent years. A little taller than noted smurfs Terry Richardson and Delonte Hollowell, Lewis has great athleticism -- enough to garner some interest as a receiver prospect -- and looks poised to end up at field corner for the maize and blue.
With some depth concerns ahead of him, it wouldn't be unheard of to see Lewis play a bit early, although his small frame needs at least a year in the weight room before he can really handle the day to day grind of college football.
