Michigan received the letter of intent from Channing Stribling just after the signing period opened up this morning.
Stribling is another piece of evidence in the larger discussion of the direction Michigan is going when recruiting secondary players. Stribling is long, athletic, and raw; this has been a common theme of corner recruiting this year. Both Reon Dawson and former 2013 commit Gareon Conley have similar builds and athletic profile.
Stribling was a big-time sleeper recruit when he committed, but he has since went on to have a pretty impressive year as a senior, and should develop into at least a solid starting option for Michigan down the line.
