April 1 saw the ECAC announcement that Michigan LSM, Chase Brown, was named the Rookie of the Week. Brown had a positive outing during the March 30 game against Air Force, tallying four ground balls and three caused turnovers. The freshman's numbers put him near the top of the stat sheet for the Wolverines this year; his four ground balls give him a total of 21 for the year, which places him second on the team in this category. He is also the team leader with eleven caused turnovers on the season. According to mgoblue.com, Brown is the third Michigan player to be selected as Rookie of the Week, joining goalie Gerald Logan and M Kyle Jackson.
Hopefully Brown can continue the pace and help bring the team's first victory of the season on April 6 at Delaware. The Blue Hens are 2-8 (0-3 CAA), and are coming off a one point loss at #14 Drexel on March 30.
