ANN ARBOR -- Details surrounding the arrest of Frank Clark Sunday night have now come to light, the alleged events that took place resulted in Clark facing two misdemeanors and an additional assault charge.
According to a report from the Sandusky Register, Clark was arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly attacking his girlfriend in a hotel room in Sandusky, Ohio. His live-in girlfriend told police that Clark allegedly punched her in the face which caused a hotel lamp to break to as she fell.
The victims brother, according to the Register report, witnessed Clark grab the victim by the neck and slam her to the ground.
Hotel staff were alerted of the disturbance from a neighboring room after explaining what sounded like "someone's head was being bounced off the wall," according to the report. The caller also mentioned seeing three small children running from the room with one of them reportedly saying, "Frank is killing our sister."
When questioned by police, the report says that Clark told an officer: "I didn't do s--- to her. I didn't touch that woman. She is a woman. ... I don't know what they do, what they go through, I don't know what she is going through. I know she is going through some crazy fits, and she may be pregnant."
The report also says that Clark, who had the victim pinned to the hotel bed, suffered a bloody nose from the victim biting him in an attempt to get him off.
Hoke is expected to address the media during his regularly-scheduled press conference at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
