Stephen Carr (Fontana, CA) is the number-two rated RB in the country, according to 247. Carr committed to USC on February 27th, and has been relatively quiet since.
Recently, Carr told MnB that he will visit Michigan April 1st for the spring game. Despite his commitment, Carr said he will be keeping an open mind during his visit to Ann Arbor.
"(Michigan) makes sure to contact me on a day to basis," Carr said. "I couldn't wait to get the (Michigan) offer."
Carr is a hot commodity, so most schools are after him. He has no scheduled visits to any other school on his 247 profile, so Michigan snagging a visit from the elite prospect could be a bigger deal than most think.
"Coach Wheatley was the one who I spoke to first, and the one who offered me," he said. "(Wheatley) just seems like a good and honest guy."
Carr is also excited to finally meet Michigan head coach, Jim Harbaugh.
"(Coach Harbaugh) is a great coach," he said. "I can't wait to meet him."
Carr is set to visit on April 1st. He will be one to keep our eyes on until signing day.
