“I don’t know, time will tell,” Parsons said when asked if he would possibly flip his commitment from Penn State to Michigan. “I have two years left.”
The 2018 five-star defensive end has offers from Penn State, Alabama, Michigan, N.C. State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple and West Virginia. Parsons, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound athlete, took an unofficial visit to Michigan on November 28, 2015.
“I was caught up in the moment,” the defensive lineman said regarding his early commitment. “I believe in James Franklin bringing winnings seasons back and I wanted to help. It is close to home. I could have enjoyed more of the process.”
Parsons is the No. 2 overall player in the Class of 2018, according to 247Sports. He is the best strong-side defensive end and the top overall player in Pennsylvania out of Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg.
“I’m trying to make sure I’m making the right decision in my football career,” he said regarding his future visit to Michigan. “Eyes are still open and options are available.”
