Murphy has offers to Mississippi and Michigan. The running back committed to play for the Bulldogs on May 24th and decommitted on January 3rd, just two days after earning an offer to play for the Wolverines.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound is ranked No. 298 in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 23rd-best athlete and the No. 4 player in the state of Mississippi.
Across the 2016 season with West Point, Murphy ran the ball 235 times for 1,764 yards and 24 touchdowns. He added eight receptions for 120 yards. Believe it or not, Murphy completed 4-of-6 passes for 93 yards and two scores. The four-star returned one kickoff for a touchdown.
