Class of 2018 four-star shooting guard Robby Carmody, from Mars (PA) Mars Area, plans to visit Michigan in June.
“Michigan has been trying to keep in contact and just get me back on campus,” Carmody said to MnB. “I plan to visit in June.”
The 6-foot-4, 185-pound athlete is ranked No. 86 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the 16th-best shooting guard and the No. 2 player in the state of Pennsylvania.
Carmody has offers to play for Auburn, Butler, Cincinnati, Duquesne, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rice, Syracuse, UNLV, and Xavier.
“Michigan is still recruiting me and I am still interested in Michigan,” he said.
The guard averaged 21.2 points per game on 52.5 percent from the field for Ohio Basketball Club on the Adidas circuit.
Michigan basketball’s top 2018 targets include Carmody, Brandon Johns, and Cormac Ryan. Ryan is a 6-foot-5, 175-pound shooting guard from Milton (MA) Milton Academy and Johns is a 6-foot-8, 206-pound power forward from East Lansing (MI) High School.
The Wolverines, coached by John Beilein, have one commit in their 2018 class in three-star point guard David DeJulius from Detroit (MI) East English Village Prep.
