LINK: Brady Hoke announces potential starting offensive line

According to Rivals' Michael Spath, Brady Hoke announced his potential starting offensive line "if the season were to start today." It appears that Mason Cole, a true freshman who had a solid spring, will start at the left tackle position. Just the sixth true freshman in Michigan history to start a game on the offensive line.

"I think the development (with what) that unit has done has been real positive," Hoke said. "A guy like Ben Braden from Rockford, right now, he’s our right tackle. And I’d expect him to be our right tackle on the (Aug. 30 against Appalachian State).

According to CBS Detroit and 97.1 the Ticket, Michigan is set to announce two huge home-and-home series this week

According to the Detroit Free Press' Mark Snyder, among others who are currently attending Brady Hoke's Tuesday media session, Jake Butt is not expected to return for the match-up against Notre Dame. Although Butt is practicing, he has been on light duty.

According to Maize & Blue News' Matt Pargoff, Ross Douglas has made a third position change with Michigan to slot receiver. With the addition of Ty Isaac, Douglas' move to the slot makes sense.

From the article, Douglas talks about the move: "It’s for the team. That’s the biggest thing is that it’s for the team," said Douglas of the move at Michigan’s media day Sunday. "I can do a lot of things based off my speed and athleticism, so wherever the team needs me, that’s where I’ll play."
