Battle is a five-star prospect, the fourth-ranked shooting guard and the 12th overall player in the class of 2016, per the 247 Composite ranking. He joins centers Jon Teske and Austin Davis as the other two commitments in the cycle for John Beilein and the Michigan Wolverines basketball program.
Where we stand today, all of Michigan's 2016-17 scholarships are now accounted for after this commitment. Attrition is always possible, so we will see how it ends up shaking out in time.
This story is developing.
