Report: Florida DC DJ Durkin waiting to see whether Michigan lands Harbaugh before looking elsewhere

According to Austin American-Stateman's Ryan Autullo, Florida interim head coach and defensive coordinator DJ Durkin is waiting to see what happens between Harbaugh and Michigan before deciding on an opportunity elsewhere.

Durkin coached defensive line and special teams at Stanford with Harbaugh from 2007-09.

Michigan OC Doug Nussmeier expected to be named OC at Florida according to SI

According to Sports Illustrated, Florida is expected to name Michigan offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier to the same position. Nussmeier spent one season at Michigan.

Current Flordia coach Jim McElwain and Nussmeier coached as assistants together at Michigan State from 2003-2006.

ESPN college football analyst and former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit said earlier today on Twitter that he hopes Jim Harbaugh takes the job as Michigan head football coach.

Weber left U-M's 2015 class a few weeks back and had set a visit date to OSU, who looked poised to be the team he would ultimately choose. Now, he joins Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes.

According to sports attorney Darren Heitner, Michigan receiver Devin Funchess is reportedly leaning towards signing with Jay Z's Roc Nation.

If the deal is finalized, it would mean that Funchess will be declaring for the NFL Draft.

Les Miles: "I have given little or no thought to any other jobs"

Any time a potential opening for the head coaching job at Michigan, there will always be one person that will somehow always find their name linked to it.

That person is Les Miles.

Asked today about the potential job opening at Michigan, Miles danced around the questions from reporters, according to the Times-Picayune.

"I have given little or no thought to any other jobs," Miles said at his weekly Monday press conference prior to LSU's Thanksgiving Day game at Texas A&M. "I am so comfortable with my team doing what I'm doing. . . I do not read the paper. I certainly respect and love Michigan and wish them the very best."

TJ Leaf commits to Arizona

Elite 2016 power forward TJ Leaf (El Cajon, California) has verbally committed to Arizona, according to his Twitter account.

Michigan was at one point considered the leader for Leaf, but he trended towards the Wildcats since then.

Leaf is a five-star prospect and the 3rd ranked player at his position, according to the 247 Composite.
