Everything in its right place (except Georgia).
Results for Week 14
SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011
Thoughts:
- The top four are pretty unoffensive, but it is curious to see Ohio State fall after not playing for a week, and on top of that the Buckeyes are still receiving two first place votes. Stanford's recent run counts for something, but the Cardinal still have a loss to Washington on the books. One thing about Ohio State's bowl ban: we heard a whole lot less about the Buckeyes all year than we would have otherwise, and that has kicked into high gear now that the season is over.
- Georgia is still at number six. Excuse me while I go throw up.
- The Big Ten still sneaks a few teams in at the end of the polls. Northwestern, Michigan, and Nebraska (!?). Seriously, Nebraska? After a loss like that you take a week off from being ranked.
- I am personally on team "Give NIU a BCS Bowl" so seeing the blogger community push the Huskies into the top 16 just like the BCS is nice. Screw you Kirk, nobody wants to watch Stoops blow another BCS bowl.
