Arizona Hires Rich Rodriguez

Former Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez gets a second chance at coaching in a BCS conference, replacing Mike Stoops at Arizona. I, for one, wish Rodriguez all the best and hope he does well in Tucson.

Rich Rodriguez to join CBS Sports Network's college football team

"Rich is an accomplished, well-recognized coach with a wealth of knowledge about the game," David Berson, Executive Vice President, CBS Sports and President, CBS Sports Network, said in a released statement. "Rich was an integral part of our Signing Day and Draft coverage. We are excited to add him to our already strong line-up of football talent and look forward to showcasing his analysis and insights during the upcoming season." Honestly, I'm pretty happy for Rich. I've always liked the guy and I think a little time in front of the camera like this will do him some good. He was always a little off when the lights were on, and I'm hoping that this gig with smooth out some of those rough edges. He's a great offensive coach, a graet person, and I bet he's going to be a great broadcaster this year. Good Luck Rich!

Former Michigan Head Coach Rich Rodriguez Signs On With CBS to Provide National Signing Day Coverage

According to multiple sources, including our friends at the Detroit News, former Michigan Football Head Coach Rich Rodriguez will be working with CBS Sports during this year's national recruiting signing day. It's a nice gig for Rodriguez and hopefully will get him some positive exposure as he talks about something he knows cold: recruiting. Good luck Coach. We're all rooting for you to catch on somewhere great.... just not in the Big Ten.

Off Tackle Empire Exclusive Interview with Michigan Head Coach Rich Rodriguez

Run, do not walk, over to Off Tackle Empire where our good friend Graham Filler has posted his X's and O's live, video interview with Michigan Head Coach Rich Rodriguez. Graham's inteview is so full of WIN I may have to change my shorts. An amazing interview which not only gives you a feel for how the Coach breaks down his game but also how he really is: relaxed, friendly, and candid. This is a huge get for Graham and OTE. Again, run, don't walk to OTE for this outstanding interview.

Rich Rodriguez comforts grieving family, gives father, son their U-M moment

If you have any doubts about Rich Rodriguez' character, please read this. He is a good man. We should be proud he's coaching here.

Michigan AD proving himself under fire

Rittenberg, on David Brandon, for the win.

Video: ESPN's Adam Rittenberg Interviews Rich Rodriguez

Great video interview with our buddy Adam Rittenberg and Coach Rodriguez. Seniors Adam Patterson Renaldo Sagesse come in for some praise. I don't want to read too much into Rodriguez' comments, but the phrase "doing enough to keep him at quarterback" when talking about Denard Robinson seems like damning praise. On the other hand, the ongoing Cam Gordon praise at safety seems to theme throughout the off-season that has some merit. It'd be nice to see a position swap actually work out.

Doc Saturday Weighs in on the "barely spilt milk" of NCAA allegations

"Know also that every program in the country -- and I'm pretty confident when I say every program -- would run afoul of at least one of those infractions (or similar ones; it's a big manual) on a somewhat regular basis, as the minimum cost of employing fallible human being while continuing to dead-lift with the Joneses. Other programs, however, weren't the target of an investigation by a major metropolitan newspaper that left no stone unturned in its efforts to make a splash against a high-profile program. Michigan was, which is why it was Michigan's coach, president and new athletic director (not even officially on the job for two more weeks) in front of the cameras today feigning contrition over barely spilt milk."
