Audio from last night's Eleven Brews Pod Cast with Dr. Saturday and Hawkeye State should be up soon. We're working on it.
Michigan Beer Month/Ann Arbor Beer Week - Obviously we have to link this.
Rodriguez has made it clear the competition for the starting job at quarterback is wide open. As a result, despite a leg fracture that took him out of spring drills Nick Sheridan says he's primed for that competition. Sheridan has even taken to speaking about himself in the third person: "[I'm] focused on making Nick Sheridan the best quarterback he can be." That said, he also awesomely admits that newly arrived Denard Robinson is probably the fastest guy "on campus." Great piece on the somewhat "forgotten quarterback in Michigan's system.

Hello: Austin White. - Brian gives us the lowdown on our newest tailback.
2010 Tailback Austin White chooses Michigan. Michigan State rushes to tell everyone they didn't want him anyway and that they still OWNZORZ in state recruiting. Whatever. White is a great fit for Michigan's backfield and likely closes the book on RB recruiting barring a surprise commit by a higher rated back like Edwardo Clements.
Michigan QB recruit Devin Gardner was selected to participate in this year's Elite 11 camp. Gardner's rocket up the recruiting rankings has been a great plus for Michigan recruitniks, but for the more practically obsessed, his reported work ethic is the biggest benefit of his recruitment. You've gotta love a kid who just wants to keep getting better.
Tom Luginbill of ESPN weighs in on the final Elite 11 roster. Says some nice things about Gardner, but also praises MSU recruit joe Boisture and PSU recruit Robert Bolden. Here's a direct link to the ESPN Elite 11website. At the top right you can find the official press release for the camp.

Scout's No. 29 CB, Spencer Boyd, will announce his college choice on Friday. Since it's a Notre Dame site reporting this, my guess is he's going there.
More news on another DT, Terry Talbott. Michigan is apparently going hard after Terry Talbot, one of the nations better, uncommitted DTs, but there seems to be confusion as to whether an offer was actually extended. Speaking of DTs, Texas Defensive tackle Jay Guy committed to Cal a while back but intends to take his officials. The Wolverine wouldn't mention it if Michigan wasn't mentioned in the story ($).

Our friends at The Rivalry, Esq., preview the new TCF Bank Stadium, new home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers. An outdoor stadium in Minnesota. Man it's gonna be cold...
It's Not Plagiarism If You Link To It Gets Counterintuitive - More injuries at Iowa. TE Tony Moeaki, the Flyin' Hawaiian, is gimpin' around with foot surgery. When healthy he's the best tight end in the country.
From time to time, it's important to look outside the Big Ten and remind ourselves that there is football being played by other teams in other conferences. The Rivalry, Esq. continues its look at those other conferences with the bastion of the undefeated: the WAC.
