Michigan Football v. Georgia rumor? "There's no truth to it."

The Detroit News believes it has driven the final stake through the heart of my college football Nosferatu. They have declared Michigan v. Georgia is dead. Quoth the News:

Speculation that Georgia could play Michigan in a home-and-home series apparently doesn't carry much weight.

"There's no truth to it," a Michigan athletic department spokesman said Thursday.

Damn you. Damn you to hell.

But Michigan v. Georgia doesn't die that easily. If Lestat can survive being set on fire, stabbed, and dumped in the friggin' swamp, Michigan v. Georgia will live on until it pulls you back into the back seat, offers you the choice of life or death, and drives off to the Stones' most epic opus.

You can't kill it. It's already dead.
