Michigan Wolverines Injury Report for Game Six Versus Michigan State

According to The University of Michigan, here's your injury report for Week Six:

OUT (0% PLAY)

Mike Jones                        Leg (season)

Fitzgerald Toussaint       Shoulder (as always, day-to-day)

Jared Van Slyke               Clavicle (probably season at this point

Michael Williams                   Head (probably for the season)

Troy Woolfolk                  Ankle (season)

PROBABLE (75% PLAY)

John Ferrara                      Hand

Mike Shaw                        Knee (Wooooo!)

As we discussed earlier this week, this is probably the healthiest the Wolverines have been all season. Michael Shaw is still probably aching from the leg whip he took, but if he's playing you can bet he'll be effective. The big news is confirmation that Brandon Herron is a go for the weekend. Bare in mine that Herron is still relatively unproven at this point and that the last time he played was against Notre Dame, but his mere presence in the lineup means that Craig Roh will be able to slide down and play more of a stand up/three technique defensive end. The difference in his effectiveness in this position is also well documented on this site. Other than that, the injury report is largely unchanged from last week. Everyone we thought would play last week, did. I think you're going to see a lot more of Thomas Gordon this week than Carvin Johnson . Johnson looked a little slow initially against Indiana and I thought Gordon was the better of the two. Likewise, don't expect Herron to set the world on fire immediately. He is jut coming off an injury that kept him out for three weeks.

As for the Spartans, the only injury I'm aware of is Offensive Lineman Henry Conway. He is questionable. Everyone else is relatively healthy. In other news, Lynn Henning is still a crazy old man.
