This is why you don't get excited about recruits until they're on campus. The Wolverine has a quick note this morning about the likelihood of Dee Hart decommitting from Michigan, and committing to Alabama today.
Dee Hart is, according to Rivals, the 17th best prospect in the country. Nearly all major recruiting services have him as the #1 all purpose running back in the nation this year.
Fortunately, Michigan had picked up a commitment from Justice Hayes, a Michigan native, and a 4-star prospect to nearly all recruiting services. The plan, ostensibly, had been for Justice to move to slot, but that might not be a luxury the Wolverines can afford should Hart switch over to Alabama.
It would be great to see Mr. Hart in Maize and Blue this Spring, but whatever happens he needs to make the decision that he feels will make him the most successful and happiest. If Alabama is that decision, then good luck to him.
More, obviously, as this develops.
