Patrick Kugler Commits to Michigan

Four-star offensive line recruit Patrick Kugler out of Wexford Pennsylvania has become the 13th member of Michigan's 2013 recruiting class per Scout Midwest Analyst Sam Webb's Twitter account.

Kugler is currently ranked as a four-star recruit to Rivals, Scout, and 247 and the sites list him between 6'4 and 6'5 with a weight between 270 lbs and 280 lbs. Rivals considers him an offensive tackle prospect but given Michigan's needs at center and Kugler's height it would appear that he is destined to move either to center or guard as previous commit David Dawson --- or less likely Kyle Bosch --- slides to center.

Kugler visited Michigan in recent days and reportedly had a great time on his trip reportedly talking about how special a place MIchigan was before tweeting "Go Blue" and "Feels like home." Kugler was scheduled to make an appearance at Michigan State's junior day, but Sam Webb tweeted that Kugler had decided to forego that visit. Want one more juicy bit of info on Kugler? His father is Sean Kugler, the offensive line coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Coach's son? Yes, please.

Kugler is the fifth offensive line recruit and that more than likely means the 2013 offensive line class is completed. Michigan now will be looking to add a few game breaking skill players while adding depth across the board on defense.
