Jay Feely (K, Undrafted in 1999, Arizona Cardinals):
Against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Feely accounted for one-third of Arizona's points in a 27-13 victory. After kicking three extra points in the second quarter, Jay cleared the uprights from 39 and 38 yards in the second half. On top of this, Feely booted four of six kickoffs for touchbacks with the other to going six yards deep into the end zone. Overall, it was a solid Sunday for Feely.
Kenny Demens (ILB, Undrafted in 2013, Arizona Cardinals):
After being waived last week to make room on the Cardinals 53-man roster, Demens was re-signed to Arizona's practice squad. Kenny finds himself back where he started the season, and he'll have to earn his way back if he wants more to see more NFL action this year.
Alan Branch (DT, 33rd in 2007 to Cardinals, Buffalo Bills):
Branch continues to see the third-most snaps on Buffalo's defensive line as he played on 37 (53%) of the Bills defensive snaps this week. I can't vouch for how well he's playing beyond his stats, which continue to be minimal: he recorded one assist against the New Orleans Saints this week. However, there haven't been any complaints about his role on the team, so everything seems to be fine for now with Branch.
Craig Roh (DE, Undrafted in 2013, Carolina Panthers):
Roh is on the practice squad in Carolina.
Leon Hall (CB, 18th in 2007 to Bengals, Cincinnati Bengals):
After suffering a torn Achilles tendon in Week 7, Hall was placed on injured reserve Tuesday. It's unfortunate for Leon, who was having a pretty good season up to this point.
Tim Jamison (DE, Undrafted in 2009, Houston Texans):
Houston had their bye this week.
Chad Henne (QB, 57th in 2008 to Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars):
In London against the 49ers, Henne's numbers don't look all that bad on first look: 29 for 45 for 228 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions. However, "not much went right" for the Jags offense under Chad's direction as "he never got the offense going early and missed on a pair of opportunities to score in the redzone." Most of his production came late, after the game was out of reach. But even with his struggles, Henne will continue to be the Jaguar's starter for the foreseeable future.
Denard Robinson (WR, 135th in 2013 to Jaguars, Jacksonville Jaguars):
At Wembley Stadium, Robinson earned a little more action than usual as he rushed for 17 yards on four carries. It's still a limited role, but "glimpses of talent from players like Denard Robinson continue to offer optimism for a team that actually looks like it might be halfway-functional on offense with a decent quarterback." Hopefully he continues to see his playing time grow since Jacksonville's season is already hopeless at this point.
Junior Hemingway (WR, 238th in 2012 to Chiefs, Kansas City Chiefs):
The Chiefs are undefeated after winning yet again this week, but Hemingway continues to see minimal action during the victories. On Sunday, Junior played on more special teams snaps than he did offensive snaps (21 to 16) and recorded no receiving stats on the game.
Jordan Kovacs (S, Undrafted in 2013, Miami Dolphins):
In tough loss against the Patriots, Kovacs played on 15 (50%) special teams snaps and recorded nothing on the stat sheet.
Tom Brady (QB, 199th in 2000 to Patriots, New England Patriots):
There's a lot of talk out there about whether or not Tom Brady is still Tom Brady, and I'll leave that for you to dig into if you'd like. As for Brady's performance this Sunday against the Dolphins, he did nothing special in the Patriots come-from-behind 27-17 victory. For the day, Brady went 13 for 22 for 116 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. Fortunately, Brady performed better in the second half with his team trailing 17-3, helping the Pats to score 24 unanswered points. After the game, he continued to deny any injury on his throwing hand even though it's been visibly swollen/taped up. Yes, it's been Brady's worst season statistically so far, and yes, he's been battling inconsistency and a lack of offensive weapons. However, New England's still 6-2, and in my opinion, Tom Brady will always find a way to be Tom Brady, whether it's the quarterback everyone's grown accustomed to or not.
David Baas (C, 33rd in 2005 to 49ers, New York Giants):
Baas remained on the sideline against the Eagles after re-injuring his knee in Week 7.
Ryan Mundy (S, 194th in 2008 to Steelers, New York Giants):
For reasons I can't seem to find, Mundy didn't play a single defensive snap against the Eagles on Sunday (he did play on 11 special teams snaps). Maybe the Giants are looking at other players since their season has already fallen by the wayside? It's unclear right now, but there's no indication that it spells the end for Ryan in New York.
David Harris (ILB, 47th in 2007 to Jets, New York Jets):
The Bengals annihilated the Jets by a score of 49-9 this week, and there weren't many bright sports for the team from New York. Harris didn't accomplish much - one tackle assist - on 57 (100% of the) defensive snaps.
William Campbell (RG, 178th in 2013 to Jets, New York Jets):
Campbell was inactive for the eighth straight week.
Jason Avant (WR, 109th in 2006 to Eagles, Philadelphia Eagles):
The offensive struggles for the Eagles offense continued for the second straight week as they lost to the lowly Giants, 15-7. After a rough Week 7 for backup Nick Foles (who was also out with injury this week), starter Michael Vick returned, only to throw an interception, fumble, and re-injure his hamstring before halftime. Third-stringer Matt Barkley (the one from USC) replaced Vick and failed to do anything. All of this led to Avant having a three reception day for 54 yards. According to Bleeding Green Nation, Avant received a report card rating of "Hot" after bouncing back from a "few poor weeks [and seeming] to have his hands back again. He caught a few first downs and blocked relatively well." That's pretty good considering the quarterback situation in Philly.
Brandon Graham (LB, 13th in 2010 to Eagles, Philadelphia Eagles):
Graham continued to see more special teams snaps than defensive snaps against the Giants on Sunday. However, on 18 (24% of the) defensive plays, Brandon found a way to record one solo tackle. On special teams, he played for 19 (73% of the) snaps. Like I said last week, it's the same old song and dance every seven days for Graham this year.
Charles Woodson (FS, 4th in 1998 to Raiders, Oakland Raiders):
In a Raiders victory on Sunday, Woodson didn't do much on the stat sheet, but he didn't need to. Charles recorded two solo tackles with two assists as Oakland edged the Steelers. It may not have been a flashy Woodson performance, but he's still considered "the MVP of the entire team and [the] teacher and Master to the entire Defense" at Silver And Black Pride.
LaMarr Woodley (OLB, 46th in 2007 to Steelers, Pittsburgh Steelers):
In a 21-18 loss against the Raiders, Woodley played for all 59 defensive snaps, but you wouldn't know it by looking at his game stats. LaMarr recorded only a single pass defense during the contest, and he overran Terrelle Pryor during his 93-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage (look for #56 in black and yellow at the beginning). This'll be a Sunday Woodley wants to forget.
Zoltan Mesko (P, 150th in 2010 to Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers):
After failing to make the Patriots roster this preseason, Mesko was cut again this week after a brutal performance on Sunday. Against the Raiders, Zoltan booted seven punts for a weak average of 35 yards, which brought his season total to 36.7 yards (29th in the NFL). Mesko's low-point on Sunday occurred in the first quarter when he bobbled the snap, which led to a blocked punt and an Oakland touchdown. As Behind the Steel Curtain put it: "[T]he Steelers completely messed up in signing him."
Jonathan Goodwin (C, 154th in 2002 to Jets, San Francisco 49ers):
Since the 49ers blew out the Jaguars 42-10 in London, Goodwin played for 49 (86%) of the offensive snaps before being pulled to give the backups some action. All in all, it was a pretty easy trip across the pond for Goodwin.
Mario Manningham (WR, 95th in 2008 to Giants, San Francisco 49ers):
Manningham continues to practice -- receiving first string snaps this week for the first time since returning -- in hopes of returning as soon as possible. The most likely scenario would be for Mario to return in Week 10 since the 49ers have a bye in Week 9. For this to happen, he'll need to be activated by next Tuesday.
Jake Long (LT, 1st in 2008 to Dolphins, St. Louis Rams):
There haven't been any complaints about Long's performance Monday Night against the Seattle Seahawks, and that seems to be the best news for Jake these days. The Rams had a fairly productive day on the ground against a decent Seahawks run defense, but Long has struggled more with pass blocking this year anyways. There isn't anything about Long surrendering any sacks/pressures against the Seahawks, so for now, let's take this as a step in the right direction for Jake.
Patrick Omameh (G, Undrafted in 2013, Tampa Bay Buccaneers):
Omameh was inactive for the second straight week.
Mike Martin (DT, 82nd in 2012 to Titans, Tennessee Titans):
Tennessee had their bye this week.
