Pollin' It: Michigan Gets As Many Votes as Positive Yards

No, there are no such things as negative votes. Kind of a shame.

Thanks to an Oregon loss, Ohio State is one spot closer to a path into the championship game.  However, the Buckeyes are going to have a hard time not getting jumped by Baylor and/or Stanford if the either win out.  Both teams have a tougher final stretch, and if Michigan can take solace in anything it is that this recent collapse has robbed OSU of an even marginally attractive win in the last game of the season.

Meanwhile Michigan State is a few spots higher thanks to a bye week and losses around the country.  The Spartans control their destiny as far as the BTCG goes, and winning there gets the Spartans an elusive Rose Bowl trip.

Let's talk about something else.

MINNESOTA IS RANKED.  Thanks to the Coaches Poll, the 8-2 Golden Gophers are ranked for the first time in approximately one billion years (or since Tim Brewster was busy running the program into the ground).

DID YOU SAY YOU WANTED A MARQUEE WIN? - Brady Hoke, retroactively.

This is all a little too depressing.
