Monday Michigan Football Recruiting Roundup Toughs It Out

MRR updates you on the very latest Michigan football recruiting rumblings. What's the latest on Da'Shawn Hand? Is Jabrill Peppers worried about UM following its loss to MSU? That and more.

Jabrill Peppers Isn't Worried

Michigan was stomped out by Michigan State over the weekend, causing many Michigan fans to worry about the Wolverines' position with its top recruits. Michigan's best recruit in years isn't going anywhere:

"I'm a Michigan Man. There will be bumps in the road but we're gonna bring back Michigan to the way it's always been."

And neither will any of Michigan's other commitments, who are all strong commitments to the Wolverines. This should answer the wave of questions in the form of, "So how many recruits did Michigan lose today?" which all happen to come from Spartan fans.

Even More on Da'Shawn Hand

Five-star defensive end Da'Shawn Hand is anxious for his big day on the 14th:

He made an appearance on the ESPN family of networks to talk about his recruitment:

The Washington Post also has a new installment of First And 17 up:

It's interesting to hear Hand's head coach talk about his star pupil's recruitment because he believes the same thing we all believe: Hand has liked Michigan from day one because of its combination of academics and football prestige, but you can't write Alabama off.

No one is giving the Florida Gators a chance, and rightfully so. Alabama and Michigan have both received visits from Hand before, and both seem to have strong relationships with him. This doesn't seem to be the case with Florida.

General Notes and Multimedia Items

Michigan has offered North Carolina 2016 DT Dexter Lawrence. The 6'5", 300-pound high school sophomore already boasts an impressive offer sheet, including offers from Florida, Clemson, South Carolina and many others. You can check out the future five-star's highlights over on Hudl.

Finally, Michigan commitment Tyree Kinnel has his senior highlights up, and 2015 offensive tackle target Sterling Jenkins has junior highlights uploaded.
