Jay Feely (K, Undrafted in 1999, Arizona Cardinals):
A week after being a negative, Feely was a positive in Arizona's overtime win on Sunday as he kicked the game-winning, 41-yard field goal. Prior to OT, Feely nailed two field goals from 25 and 47 yards as well four extra points to finish the game with 13 of Arizona's 37 points.
Kenny Demens (ILB, Undrafted in 2013, Arizona Cardinals):
Demens is on the practice squad in Arizona.
Alan Branch (DT, 33rd in 2007 to Cardinals, Buffalo Bills):
With 44 defensive snaps on Sunday, Branch could only muster a single tackle against the lowly Jaguars. A win is a win though, and the Bills took the game, 27-20.
Craig Roh (DE, Undrafted in 2013, Carolina Panthers):
Roh is on the practice squad in Carolina.
Tim Jamison (DE, Undrafted in 2009, Houston Texans):
Jamison was inactive this week.
Chad Henne (QB, 57th in 2008 to Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars):
Trailing 27-20 in the fourth quarter, Henne had a chance to lead the Jags down the field to tie the game, and he almost did it too. On third down, five yards from the end zone, Chad threw a pick that all but ended the game with a little over three minutes left on the clock. He'd get one more chance but couldn't muster a first down on four straight failed plays. He finished the game 21 for 36 for 237 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Denard Robinson (WR, 135th in 2013 to Jaguars, Jacksonville Jaguars):
With Maurice Jones-Drew (the Jags' starting running back) out with an injury, Denard failed to steal the spotlight away from fellow backup running back Justin Todman. Robinson finished with two carries for 28 yards but lost a fumble as he was about to cross the goal line (see the above image). If he wants any chance in the NFL, Denard's got to hold the ball a little tighter.
Junior Hemingway (WR, 238th in 2012 to Chiefs, Kansas City Chiefs):
The Chiefs put up some video game numbers on Sunday in a 56-31 rout of the Raiders, but Hemingway wasn't a part of it on offense. He was targeted twice but didn't catch either pass. His only notable stat in the game was a special teams tackle. It seems as though the Chiefs won't be using Hemingway much as they prepare for a run in the playoffs.
Jordan Kovacs (S, Undrafted in 2013, Miami Dolphins):
After being promoted back to the 53-man roster for the second time this season (this happened two weeks ago but I missed it), Kovacs failed to record any stats as he's being used in mostly a special teams role from what I can tell.
Tom Brady (QB, 199th in 2000 to Patriots, New England Patriots):
In a season full of comeback victories, Brady couldn't pull out another as he and the Pats fell 14 yards short of the end zone on their final drive. Facing fourth and five at the Miami 14, Brady made a questionable decision to throw into double coverage and paid the price. The Dolphins intercepted the pass in the end zone to effectively end the contest. Tom finished the game 34 for 55 for 364 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, but it's the one turnover that every one will remember.
Ryan Mundy (S, 194th in 2008 to Steelers, New York Giants):
In a 23-0 loss at the hands of the Seahawks, Mundy recorded four solo tackles with two assists and one sack. The game watched him start for the first time since Week 7 after mostly playing on special teams in recent weeks. You can read more comments from Mundy on his benching and subsequent return to starting action here.
David Harris (ILB, 47th in 2007 to Jets, New York Jets):
From Gang Green Nation:
"This might have been Harris' worst game of the season. He was beaten in coverage a few times. He was dragged by ball carriers to allow critical yardage a few others. And on the screen that went for a touchdown he first did not get off his block quickly enough and then could not catch up."
William Campbell (RG, 178th in 2013 to Jets, New York Jets):
Campbell was inactive this week.
Jason Avant (WR, 109th in 2006 to Eagles, Philadelphia Eagles):
The Eagles couldn't get their act together against the Vikings, but Avant put up decent numbers for the first time in a while. In the 48-30 loss, he caught three passes for 40 yards with one meaningless touchdown late in the fourth.
Brandon Graham (LB, 13th in 2010 to Eagles, Philadelphia Eagles):
Graham didn't do much on Sunday. He recorded one tackle assist on 20 defensive snaps.
LaMarr Woodley (OLB, 46th in 2007 to Steelers, Pittsburgh Steelers):
After returning to action last week following three week's off due to a calf injury, it looks like Woodley's season is in jeopardy after injuring his other calf on Sunday night against the Bengals. He failed to play past the Steelers' first defensive drive, and with a possible season-ending injury on the horizon, his future in Pittsburgh might also be up in the air.
Charles Woodson (FS, 4th in 1998 to Raiders, Oakland Raiders):
Sunday wasn't pretty for the Raiders as the Chiefs stomped over them en route to a 56-31 victory. As Silver and Black Pride puts it: "Woodson has really worn down over the course of the season." This couldn't have been more evident on Sunday as he recorded a modest three solo tackles in the defeat.
Jonathan Goodwin (C, 154th in 2002 to Jets, San Francisco 49ers):
Per usual, Goodwin played on 100% of the offensive snaps for the 49ers on Sunday (74). The offense seemed to be firing on all cylinders as they beat the Bucs 33-14.
Mario Manningham (WR, 95th in 2008 to Giants, San Francisco 49ers):
Even though San Fran's offense found success in Week 15, Manningham wasn't part of it. On 14 snaps, he recorded one reception for two yards. So far, it's been a lackluster return to action for the former Wolverine.
Jake Long (LT, 1st in 2008 to Dolphins, St. Louis Rams):
Things are looking up in St. Louis after a win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. A big reason for any of the Rams' success this season can be credited to solid offensive line play, which Turf Show Times discusses at length. In the article, they talk about Long's return to form after a slow start to the year. After being a source of complaints in the early weeks, he's "allowed just two sacks, two hits and six hurries [in comparison to] four sacks, two hits and 16 hurries through the first seven games."
Patrick Omameh (G, Undrafted in 2013, Tampa Bay Buccaneers):
Omameh was inactive for the eighth straight week.
Mike Martin (DT, 82nd in 2012 to Titans, Tennessee Titans):
Martin was on the inactive list this week, and Music City Miracles doesn't seem to have a clue as to why:
"Another strange inactive is Mike Martin. The Titans coaching staff must see something off the field that Martin doesn't show when he is playing. The coaches should be pushing for Martin to play more snaps not fewer. I just don't get this list."
