This is your one-stop shop for a big day of Michigan sports.

USA TODAY Sports

There's a bunch-o-happenings for Wolverines fans tonight, and Maize n Brew is here to be your outlet for commenting, cheering, and venting. Hopefully not too much of the latter.

After losing to Western Michigan in OT last night, Michigan hockey is scheduled to take on Michigan State in the consolation game of the GLI, but the warm weather has pushed the start time to 4:30 p.m. So this game will probably still be on Fox Sports Detroit at the start of the night's next event...

The basketball team will take on Holy Cross at Crisler tonight; tip-off is at 6:30 p.m. on BTN. They'll do so without big-man Mitch McGary, which is a disappointment to all of us, and we hope the young man gets healthy soon. Fouad has a preview of the game right here.

Of course, the main event is the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, with Michigan taking on Kansas State. The game is at 10:15 p.m. Eastern on ESPN, so I understand if you have/had to sneak a nap in somewhere along the way. We have a lot of other coverage on tonight's game, so make sure to check out the storystream in case you missed anything, or if you need a refresher. The guys did a lot of great work; you won't be disappointed.

With all of the happenings, comment on whatever you wish. Mind the guidelines; no trolling please. Things got pretty damn chippy between The Daily Gopher and TNIAM. Don't pull that crap here if you're a visitor, and please don't pull it at Bring on the Cats, let's finish the day with some class.

Go Blue!

Today's tune is brought to you by the incomparable Beastie Boys...
