ESPN released its 2014 ESPN 150 rankings Thursday, and five Michigan commitments made the list.
Among the top-150 players, Lawrence Marshall (Southfield, Mich.) sits at No. 107. The former Ohio State commitment, and current Michigan prospect, is rated an 83 and a four star.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end isn't necessarily giddy about the ranking ESPN gave him either.
"I’m happy with the recognition but I wanna be #1," Marshall said via text message Thursday. "(I’ll get there) By out working everybody."
By many player’s standards, being ranked in the top 150 is something to brag about. However, Marshall is going to use his bottom-third ranking as motivation to get better this offseason.
Marshall holds offers from Indiana and Michigan State, among others.
