Michigan nabs the commitment of Illinois TE Ian Bunting for the class of 2014.

Think Funchess, but taller. And skinnier.

Michigan adds another commit to the ledger with the addition of Bunting to the class. The 6'7 prospect is listed as a four star to two services (ESPN, 247) and a three star to the two others. His offer sheet is pretty impressive, with Ohio State, Oregon, Wisconsin, USC, and Virginia Tech being the notables, along with Notre Dame, the team that presumed to lead for his services until this commitment.

Michigan has been doing a lot of work recruiting tight ends over the last couple classes, and could presumably add another to the 2014 class to help with depth. Bunting is a long prospect (6'7!) that is going to need some time to develop the muscle to be an effecitve (or even noticeable) blocker at the collegiate level. He currently is listed at 215 on Rivals, which like, get that kid a cheeseburger.

More coming soon from DGDestroys and the rest of the recruiting gang.
