NCAA Football 14 gets Ultimate Team mode, Best Buy gets exclusive Big Ten pack

NCAA Football 14 will be the first year the franchise features the Ultimate Team mode, made popular by other EA Sports releases, including the Madden NFL series.

PastaPadre.com announced today that exclusive conference packs for Ultimate Team can be preordered at competing big-box stores. For example, Best Buy will carry the Big Ten Conference Pack. So, if you want to unlock some exclusive Michigan content for the 2014 release, you should probably preorder your copy at Best Buy.

The website offered the following details about the new feature being added to the NCAA Football series:

Though how Ultimate Team will be built for NCAA Football 14 may remain a mystery until May 15 – whether that be using current "unnamed" players, legends, generics, or some mishmash of the three – EA Sports perceives it to be a major new addition to the series as they are featuring it in all retailer pre-order bonuses.

The site noted that the Pac-12 pack will be sold at Amazon, the SEC pack will be sold at Gamestop, the Big East pack will be sold at Origin, the ACC pack will be sold at Target, and the Big 12 pack will be sold at Wal-Mart.
