Another day, another watch list for a Michigan football player.

The John Mackey Award released its 2013 preseason watch list Tuesday, and sophomore tight end Devin Funchess was one of the 37 names atop the list.

Funchess caught 15 passes for 234 yards and five touchdowns in 2012.

Purdue’s Tim Stratton (2000) and Iowa’s Dallas Clark (2002) are the only Big Ten players to win the award, with Stratton winning in the award’s inaugural year.
