Amani Toomer caught anything thrown at him, whether it was from Todd Collins or Elvis Grbac. Sits in the Michigan record books at third place all-time for receiving yards, and eighth in touchdowns. While Gary Moeller's teams during Toomer's career struggled to win conference championships, Toomer racked up the yardage and Michigan had some classic games nonetheless. His freshman year was when Michigan was near-unstoppable despite three disappointing tie games on the schedule, and 1994 was when they had an epic victory down in South Bend on a game-winning field goal. Toomer had the size of Braylon Edwards or Adrian Arrington, plus the speed of a Jeremy Gallon type.
It is up to Gallon to make Michigan's receiving threat a terror, and it's nearly time to see what he's got.
