Jay Feely (K, Undrafted in 1999, Arizona Cardinals):
In what will likely be his final game in Arizona, Feely failed his team and cost them a shot at the playoffs by going two for four on field goal attempts. The Cardinals lost to the 49ers on a game-winning field goal, so if Feely hits at least one of the two misses, the game likely heads into overtime. Revenge of the Birds summed up Feely's inconsistency following the loss:
"We have to get this out of the way early -- Feely cost the team the game. Was it that simple? Should we move on? Heck no, we're talking about a guy going 2/4, making one puts the game in overtime, making two and the game is won...I'll state the obvious, Feely's done. His kick offs are short, he's missed some very big points this year which would have turned the fate of the season and then in this the Cardinals Super Bowl he spent a lot of time sitting by himself on the bench because he didn't have the leg to perform at this level anymore. Sorry to be so blunt, but Feely will be looking for work very soon."
Kenny Demens (ILB, Undrafted in 2013, Arizona Cardinals):
Demens is on the practice squad in Arizona.
Alan Branch (DT, 33rd in 2007 to Cardinals, Buffalo Bills):
In a loss to the Pats, Branch recorded one solo tackle and three assists. Before the game, he signed a three-year extension to remain in Buffalo that's worth $8.5 million total with a $3.1 million signing bonus. The deal benefits both sides as the Bills solidify their defensive line for a decent cost, and Branch receives a solid payday up front.
Craig Roh (DE, Undrafted in 2013, Carolina Panthers):
Roh is on the practice squad in Carolina.
Zoltan Mesko (P, 150th in 2010 to Patriots, Cincinnati Bengals):
After being cut by the Steelers in October, Mesko finds himself back in the NFL on a playoff-bound team just days before the postseason begins. With their starter out with a broken jaw, the Bengals decided to give Mesko another shot after inconsistency caused both the Patriots and Steelers to pass on him.
Tim Jamison (DE, Undrafted in 2009, Houston Texans):
Jamison wasn't on the inactive list for the second straight week, and like Week 16, he failed to record any stats.
Chad Henne (QB, 57th in 2008 to Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars):
The Jags never had a chance against the Indianapolis Colts this week, and Henne failed to help out. His final stat line of the season: 30 for 51 for 331 yards with one touchdown and one interception. However, the TD came in the final seconds of the game, and throughout the contest, he missed "several opportunities to move the ball downfield, although he certainly wasn't helped by a receiving corps that had multiple drops."
Denard Robinson (WR, 135th in 2013 to Jaguars, Jacksonville Jaguars):
Robinson wasn't used in Jacksonville's offense this week, and if he played on special teams, he failed to record any stats.
Junior Hemingway (WR, 238th in 2012 to Chiefs, Kansas City Chiefs):
With the Chiefs resting their key players in a meaningless game, Hemingway hauled in five passes for 45 yards in a loss on Sunday. It's unclear how much action he'll see in the playoffs.
Jordan Kovacs (S, Undrafted in 2013, Miami Dolphins):
Kovacs is on the 53-man roster in Miami, but he failed to record any stats in the season finale.
Tom Brady (QB, 199th in 2000 to Patriots, New England Patriots):
The Pats cruised to a victory last week and clinched a bye in the first round of the playoff in the process. Brady didn't have his best performance of the year - 14 for 24 for 122 yards with one touchdown and one interception - but New England's ground game (specifically LeGarrette Blount) did more than enough to dispatch the struggling Buffalo Bills.
Ryan Mundy (S, 194th in 2008 to Steelers, New York Giants):
After starting and performing well in Week 16, Mundy seemed to be bumped down to mostly special teams duties in the final week of the season. He recorded just one solo tackle in the game, and given New York's depth at safety, Big Blue View is predicting that Mundy won't be around in 2014.
David Harris (ILB, 47th in 2007 to Jets, New York Jets):
The Jets won on Sunday to finish 8-8 on the season, and Harris dialed up another solid performance. He ended his seventh NFL season with four solo tackles and one assist. Gang Green Nation summed up his season as resurgence with a vengeance."
William Campbell (RG, 178th in 2013 to Jets, New York Jets):
Campbell was inactive this week.
Jason Avant (WR, 109th in 2006 to Eagles, Philadelphia Eagles):
The Eagles eked out a playoff-clinching victory against the Dallas Cowboys this week, and Avant helped set up Philly's first touchdown with this ridiculous catch. He finished the game with three receptions for 45 yards while missing a portion of the contest with a shoulder injury. As for the Eagles' first-round playoff game on Saturday, it looks like he'll be good to go since he's been fully active in practice this week.
Brandon Graham (LB, 13th in 2010 to Eagles, Philadelphia Eagles):
In the final game of 2013, Graham recorded a pair of solo tackles to help the Eagles win the NFC East and clinch a playoff berth.
Charles Woodson (FS, 4th in 1998 to Raiders, Oakland Raiders):
The Raiders were torched in the first half in Week 17 by Peyton Manning, but Woodson impressed in what might be his last game wearing the Silver and Black. He led the team with 11 tackles including one sack, and "[h]e didn't give up a catch in the first half." The young guns in Oakland want to see Woodson return, and Charles would like to as well. Whether or not he stays will be based on if management agrees and another one-year contract can be worked out.
Jonathan Goodwin (C, 154th in 2002 to Jets, San Francisco 49ers):
Goodwin played on all 59 offensive snaps in the 49ers season finale, and he'll be looking to do whatever it takes to make a deep run in the playoffs since his future in San Francisco and the NFL is uncertain (he turned 35 earlier this December and he's a free agent at the end of the year).
Mario Manningham (WR, 95th in 2008 to Giants, San Francisco 49ers):
Manningham's injury issues ended his season early as he spent Week 17 on injured reserve with knee problems. It's doubtful that the 49ers retain his services in 2014, and at this point, he just needs to find a way to stay healthy if he wants to stick on an NFL roster.
Jake Long (LT, 1st in 2008 to Dolphins, St. Louis Rams):
As expected, Long tore his ACL as well as his MCL in Week 16. This adds to Long's growing list of recent injuries and puts his status for 2014 up in the air. After bouncing back from a rough start to the season, it's unfortunate that Long will likely miss a chunk of next year.
Patrick Omameh (G, Undrafted in 2013, Tampa Bay Buccaneers):
Omameh was not listed as inactive for the final week of the season, but I can't confirm that he played.
Mike Martin (DT, 82nd in 2012 to Titans, Tennessee Titans):
Martin finished his 2013 season with a solid performance against the Houston Texans. He recorded one tackle in the game, and according to Music City Miracles, he "looked strong...and generally [held his] position responsibilities nicely."
