The first rankings of the College Football Playoff are out, and if you ask most people, it's the end of the world.

The overreaction to the initial set of rankings was expected and most people have their conspiracy theories out.
However, when you get some friendly folk from the south chiming in, there tends to be a lack of a connection between the brain and the mouth.
@SECstats @RedditCFB Actually not possible to do that when there's only one 'S' in it. #GoodJobGoodEffort

Is it outrageous to have 3 SEC teams in the Final 4 right now? Absolutely... NOT.
It's the best conference in football, and there isn't even a close second. If the Pac-12, Big Ten and Big 12 schools want to shut up the SEC fans, go win a big game for once. Go beat someone with some relevance.
The final rankings won't be released until December, and a lot of these SEC teams will face one another and things will settle themselves out. Is there a chance for a 1-loss Big Ten champion team to sneak into the Final 4? Maybe. However, don't talk about who deserves what. If you don't win all the games on your schedule, you don't control your own destiny and have zero room to complain.
Currently, there are two teams, Mississippi State and Florida State, who control their own destiny and will finish in some order of 1-2 if they continue to win.
The rest of the teams need to take things one week at a time, keep winning and hope to get some help along the way.

INDIANA @ MICHIGAN - 3:30 P.M. EST. - BTN
In Michigan's last five games, Jake Ryan (9) and Frank Clark (7.5) have combined for 16.5 tackles-for-loss.

Same old story, different Saturday.
Michigan is a bad football team, a poorly run football program and the man overseeing Michigan Athletics, Dave Brandon, is on the hot seat as well.
Looks like @mgoblog's piece on Dave Brandon is at almost 97,000 pageviews. Though if Dave Brandon was counting, it would be at 104,571.

Never seen a more proactive campaign to oust an AD than what is going on now at Michigan

Dave Brandon to MLive: "I don’t read blogs, so I think it’s nonsense." If he didn’t read it how does he know it’s nonsense?
— Dan Wolken (@DanWolken) October 29, 2014
"I don't read blogs so I think it's nonsense." That's a fun trick. Let me try. "I don't speak Italian so Pagliacci isn't real"
