Dele Harding (Elkton, Maryland), a 2016 linebacker prospect, announced on Friday that he has committed to the University of Michigan, according to his Twitter account.
Just committed to the University of 〽️ichigan #GoBlue— Dele Harding (@dele_harding) October 31, 2014
Harding, at 6-1, 232 pounds, is a three-star prospect and the 12th ranked inside linebacker in the class of 2016, according to 247 Sports' Composite Rankings.
He earned his offer from the Wolverines this summer at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp in Harper Woods, Michigan, where he by all accounts had a very good showing.
Harding is a student at Eastern Christian Academy in Elkton, which may sound familiar as it is the school that 2014 prospects Freddy Canteen and Brandon Watson, now true freshman at Michigan, came from. It seems that connection has paid off for the Wolverines in bringing him in.
He is the third committment of the 2016 class, joining a pair of four-stars quarterback Messiah deWeaver and offensive lineman Erik Swenson.
