As Zach said in his game review, Michigan took their lumps, but had enough to overcome an Oregon squad that absolutely killed it on the glass.
Tonight's foe is the 12th-ranked Villanova Wildcats, who are coming off an impressive win over the ever-dangerous VCU Rams. Given that 'Nova turns the ball over 9.3 times per game, and Michigan coughs it up only 7.8 times, protection will continue to be the key in a game that will probably be evenly matched. The Wolverines will definitely need a better performance in the rebound column if they want to remain undefeated.
For those of you who don't know, the last time Michigan played Villanova, the Wildcats won the contest...and the NCAA Tournament.
Tonight is also the final, craziest, busiest night of the year at work so I probably won't be around--although I say that a lot and then show up. Hopefully we'll have more participation since the game is on ESPN2 instead of the web.
