It's been a long time coming, but the College Football world finally didn't have any jokes to lay on Michigan football this past weekend.
The Wolverines won a game, against a Power 5 team nonetheless, and did it in convincing fashion. It might have been against a basketball school like Indiana, but for the Maize and Blue, a win is a win these days and the team will take it.
Michigan now sits at 4-5 and has managed to keep it's Bowl dreams alive, for now.
Now, let's fast forward past the "resignation," of Dave Brandon and keep on the focus on the football field.

The Wolverines will travel to Chicago this weekend in what is anticipated to be frigid weather conditions. Northwestern isn't that great of a football team this year, but at 4-5 overall, Michigan doesn't have much room to overlook anybody on the football field these days.
It might not be a pretty game, but if Michigan can pull off the win and level itself at 5-5 with two games remaining, they'll give themselves a realistic shot at a winning record and a Bowl appearance.
Who knows, maybe they can even ruin that team in Ohio's dreams with a major upset in late November. That's to-be-determind though, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.
