Michigan took a small step up this week thanks to a 1-1 showing in Brooklyn. With Villanova sliding into the top-10, Michigan ended up sliding to 16/17 in the two polls.
Syracuse was ranked before, but fell out of the polls, taking some luster off Tuesday's matchup.
The rest of the Big Ten is still ranked in tiers: Wisconsin and everybody else. Wisconsin is 2nd in the AP and 4th in the Coaches. Ohio State is the next closest, ranked 14/13 in the two polls. Behind Michigan is Michigan State, Maryland, and Illinois.
